75 years ago, the first tiny place in Bydgoszcz was opened under the Sowa brand. Since then, trends in confectionery have come a long way. See how one product can be understood in many ways. Three extremely classic products - puff, apple pie and Hungarian dessert cake in completely different, modern versions.

 

Puff

The most noticeable is the change of form - the traditional puff consists of two parts of steamed dough with cream-based cream. Our new one is completely closed. The addition of shortcrust pastry on the top, delicate mascarpone cheese and real vanilla in the cream filling bring a new character to it.

Apple pie tart

we kept the traditional recipe, but focused on a very modern, simple shape. Shortcrust pastry, roasted in butter, apples, cinnamon and meringue - this mix pleases the eyes and taste buds.

Hungarian dessert cake

In the classic version - it is a dessert based on chocolate butter cream, sponge cake, cocoa and a large amount of cherries in alcohol. In the new version, we significantly slimmed it down, butter cream replaced delicate chocolate mousse based on cream, cherries in alcohol gave way to cherries cooked in gel. Delicate dark chocolate shavings replaced the thick chocolate glaze.
